One Night in D.C.

2012.12.27
Day One Hundred and Three. Went in to D.C. with my dear old dad to some long exposure work. The monuments and mall are a pretty awesome place to shoot once the sun goes down. And, boy were we not alone in this opinion. Despite how cold it was, there were a tonne of other people out shooting. It was actually slightly colder than we had expected and the hand warmers we'd brought did a giant boatload of nothing, so we didn't stay out as long as we would have liked, but this turned out to be a good thing. As we were making our way down the escalator to the metro, we heard announced of the PA system that the next train was going to be the last one! So, we had a great time and got really lucky :)
