Georgia Sea Turtle Center

2013.09.07
Day One Hundred and Forty Seven. And, we're in Georgia. Not entirely sure how that happened and I'm a bit out of my photographic element, but there are turtles here, so who cares? The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a place were people get to play with turtles, for science. And by people I mean the staff that work here, not the visitors (very unfortunately). It's a turtle rehabilitation clinic and all I wanted was to pet one, but because they get released back out into the wild once they've been rehabilitated, human contact must be kept to an absolute minimum (again, very unfortunately). The lack of petting a bunch of sea turtles aside, I'm happy to have learned this place exists and to have seen them do their work :)
