Seattle Part II

2014.05.18
Day One Hundred and Seventy Five. We started off by going down to the world famous Public Market, where I had some serious misconceptions about fish getting thrown around. I was all sorts of ready with my trusty 50mm lens to do some serious street photography of flying fish action. Unfortunately, all of the fish throwing happened behind the counter, so I wasn't able to get any good shots of it. In retrospect, it's probably safer for everyone involved if they didn't throw fish around through the public parts of the market, disappointing as that fact may be. After walking down to the water front, our group split up. The female half of the group decided they wanted to go bra shopping, while the decidedly more male half of the group decided that urban exploration would be a better use of our time. I got some nice shots of the downtown high rises, then got absolutely covered in mulch trying to get awesome actions shots as they did parkour in a local park. Despite the lack of flying fish, it turned out to be a really fun day :)
