Costa Rican Volcano III and a Sloth!

2016.03.14
Day Two Hundred and Forty Five. Our last day in Costa Rica. Sad. But we finally saw a sloth. Awesome!

Oh, and there was a pretty ok waterfall and another volcano. The waterfall proved to be really hard to shoot. It was in deep shadow with tonnes of really bright highlights all over the place ... and it was swarming with people. I almost didn't shoot it at all. But I eventually gave in and took a few shots. I'm not extraordinarily happy with how it came out, but I'm not deeply upset either.

I normally don't like shooting wildlife because it moves too fast. A sloth is the perfect solution to this problem :)

We hiked up the west side of the volcano and I made everyone angry because there wasn't a chance in hell I was leaving before sunset. The clouds were too good and the angle was just right. It's a good thing the driver was contractually obligated to not leave me behind, haha :D

And yes, I completely abdicated my editorial responsibilities by posting all three sunset images. I couldn't decide which was better, so you get all of them ;)
