Gesaeuse National Park

Day Two Hundred and Seventy Seven. After a wonderful 4 days in the Dolomites, it was time to head north into Austria. Our first stop was Gesaeuse National Park. We weren't in the Dolomites anymore, so I wasn't sure what to expect. What we got was a wonderful hike ... where we may or may not have gotten lost and wandered through a private cow field ... but it's ok, because there was an amazing little cabin at the top serving up some of the best soup I've ever had. Europeans definitely have this "lunch in the middle of a hike" thing down to a science ... and it's absolutely the right way to do it 😁
Oh, and I guess there was a nice view at the top too, haha
