Kirby Beach

2018.07.07
Day Three Hundred and Nine. Finally bothered to pop down to Kirby Beach. I'd looked at it I don't know how many times while shooting from other points on the Marin Headlands. The trek down isn't too bad, and the view is stellar. If you have a really high-power zoom lens, you could probably get some neat shots of the city behind the Golden Gate ... but I was entranced by the upturned stump in the middle of the beach. How did it get there? It certainly didn't grow there. It must have needed a beach day, hahaha.
