Hollywood Hyperlapse

2013.10.27
Day One Hundred and Fifty Four. A hyperlapse is a time-lapse, where you pick up the tripod and move it between each shot. I recently discovered the concept while *cough*studying*cough* ... yeah, studying ... uh, on YouTube ... anyways, I thought it'd be really cool to make my own, so I headed down to Hollywoods' Star Walk to see if I could do it. I used my ND filter to smooth out the people walking by since I figured it'd be way to choppy with still images. Despite all the difficulties reframing each shot to try and get smooth motion (thank you After Effects' Warp Stabalizer for doing a better job than I ever could) I think it came out pretty well. And, right at the end, a group of street performers decided to give me a grand finale :)
