Aztec Ruins National Monument

Day One Hundred and Fifty Six. And Day 13 of our Epic Cross Country Road Trip! We continued the trend of seeing ruins with Aztec Ruins National Monument, though I'll just come right out and say this spot was a bit of a disappointment after the past few ultra epic days we'd had. These ruins were a bit more ruined ... I guess ... so there was really only one interesting building, which you'll notice is the subject of half of these pictures. The last image was taken in a recreation of the Great Kiva. I don't know why, but it was kind of creepy in there. In an attempt to make up for these slightly less than spectacular ruins combined with another flat blue sky, I gave the images an antique feel to try an make them a bit more visually interesting :)
