Pula, Croatia

2017.03.18
Day Two Hundred and Fifty Nine. After a fun romp through the caverns in Slovenia, we turned back south and went down to Pula. Did you know there's a Roman Colosseum in Croatia? I had no idea! And that they still do gladiator fights there today. How cool is that?!

Also got to see the Arch of the Sergii and the Temple of Augustus. I'm continually surprised that you can just walk right up and touch these 2,000 year-old structures and touch them! I actually think I like the temple the best out of the three, but I'll definitely have to come back to catch a gladiator show!
