Moss Beach

2017.12.09
Day Two Hundred and Ninety One. Hopped over to Moss Beach for sunset ... because it's a beach ... and sunset ... what more of a reason do you need?

Just for fun, I pulled out my tilt-shift lens to see if I could get a single shot with the entire beach in focus. Focusing on the ground directly in front of you and objects at infinity is still kind of challenging. There's a lot of fiddling with knobs and dials involved, and I more than just a little wish this thing had an automatic mode, haha. After a whole lot of the aforementioned fiddling (and getting wet more than once), I did finally manage to get a shot looking down the beach with a wave coming in. I like how the (brief) long exposure + shadow almost makes it look like the water is hovering over the sand. Magic!
