D800 Test Shoot

Day Fifty Three. Just a quick couple of demo shots from the shiny new D800 as I walked around messing with the settings. Nothings overly spectacular here photographically, but ... this camera is literally better in every conceivable way than the D70! The 100% view in the viewfinder is amazing and, because it's a full frame sensor, I can finally SEE through it! No more squinting through the cropped sensor sized viewfinder :) The 51 point autofocus is light years ahead of the 5 point autofocus of the D70. Short of doing a full blown review of the D800 in comparison the D70, I'll just leave it at AMAZING!
