San Diego at Sunset

2012.09.01
Day Eighty Two Part II. After getting my fill of the animals and buying the requisite fridge magnet, I hopped back on the bus and headed down town to catch the sunset from the waterfront. I'd heard all my life that San Diego had a beautiful sunset and I am happy to report that it absolutely did not disappoint. The blue hour is almost always a magical time for photography and today was no exception. From the Bob Hope Memorial and USS Midway, all the way up the waterfront to a really cool looking pirate ship, past some beautiful sand sculptures, the colours were simply stunning. I don't think enough can be said about how beautiful the sunset is, though I'm going to stop myself on the grounds that I'm fairly certain I already sound redundant, and, either way, it speaks for itself :)
