Lick Observatory

Day One Hundred and Twenty Four. Made the exhilarating drive up Mt Hamilton to the Lick Observatory. The view over San Jose was astounding, but paled in comparison to the view of the stars. It was ridiculously colder than we were prepared for, so we only ended up staying out for about an hour and a half, but it was more than worth it. If you watch the video closely, you'll see a flash. That one bright frame is when some crazy asshole drove around the observatory like we were on the set of `The Fast and the Furious`. The guy came within maybe six feet of us and our gear. Despite the near death experience, I can't wait to go back!
