Jack's Peak County Park

2012.03.03
Day Forty Five. Finally made it up to Jack's Peak County Park. Given all of the pictures I'd seen taken there of the Bay, I was expecting a lot better views. The truth of the matter is that a lot of it is fully or partially obstructed by trees. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing by itself ... it was just unexpected. Nevertheless, I still managed to get a few good shots in (including one of the NPS campus :) ). Unrelatedly, the Spanish Moss still kind of freaks me out, so I got a few good shots of it. And, I'd still like to know why there are so many trees that don't grow straight. Maybe it's because I grew up on the East Coast and just aren't used to them, but all these curvy trees just look unnatural. o_O
